PPPD Foundations: Recognizing and Managing Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (VF-0009)


Description
This course provides an introduction to persistent postural-perceptual dizziness, or 3PD, including its epidemiology, common triggers, symptom patterns, and underlying mechanisms. Participants will learn how 3PD can develop after vestibular events, and how diagnosis is different in 3PD. The course will review key diagnostic considerations, including how to distinguish persistent 3PD symptoms from unresolved vestibular pathology or incomplete compensation. Clinical strategies for evaluation, vestibular assessment, follow-up, and treatment planning will also be discussed.
